Rangers’ Captain 53% Approval Rating

In a New York Daily News poll that asked viewers to either “keep or dump him”, Chris Drury the Rangers’ captain got a 53% approval rating from fans. Frankly, I think Dru should take a major pay cut from his 6+ million dollar a year bloated and undeserved salary, and take the first 60 games of the season off, and show up for the last 22 and the playoffs. Everyone knows he’s a clutch performer down the stretch, in the playoffs and at the end of big games, why waste his energy at his age on the regular season. Either that or just get rid of him, he’s a great guy and a winner all around, but I can’t point to many players (Wade Redden) in this league who are overpaid for their respective performance on the ice.
