No, I don't trend trade on the short side, I'm looking for a sharp move down
to cover and walk away with my bounty. I do pairs trade from time to time
but not in the momentum strategy.

You don't want to be pairs trading with $RIG right now though, it won't be
trading with the market in either direction because of the news factor.

would you consider a paired trade with another driller, like long $ESV or $NE, to hedge your $RIG short??
