Join Me On StockTwits TV Afternoon Update

We’re doing something very special over at StockTwits TV.  For too long, financial media, and especially television, has been full of journalists who attempt to act like traders.  Problem is, they’re not traders, they could never know what it feels like to have money on the line, to be tossed around by the emotions of fear and greed on a daily basis.  Hence, financial television has been mostly for entertainment purposes only, rarely is there any real value to the trader or investor.

When we started StockTwits TV our main goal was to bring you content produced by the traders themselves, and give you a front row seat into their minds as they navigate markets.  They have money on the line every day, and although sometimes they do talk their book, which we also have a dedicated show for, they have no ulterior motives beyond their own P&L.

I think we’ve done a damn good job at creating excellent content which is valuable to traders and investors alike.  During market hours the content is often shifted more towards day and swing trading, after hours we move further up the time frame ladder towards investing, longer form content, and in depth fundamental discussion.

But now we would like to build on the success that has been “Talk Your Book” by getting our community more involved in StockTwits TV.  Over the next few weeks, we will give you new tools to create your own content, the best of which will be aired on StockTwits TV.  As well, today I am opening up the StockTwits Afternoon Update to StockTwits community members who would like to come on the program with me via Skype any day of the trading week at 1PM, to chat about their strategies, trades, the market, and introduce themselves to the community.  I welcome all types of traders and investors from different time frames and approaches to come on the program.
