It Doesn’t Look Any Better Than That

So you know that scene in Top Gun when Maverick goes back up for his first hop (training mission) after he loses Goose, when he won’t engage. In the cockpit Maverick says, “it’s no good, it’s just no good.” The rio yells out, “it doesn’t get to look any better than that.” The scene skips to the tarmac. Walking behind Maverick the rio yells out, “hey man, hey, we coulda had him, we coulda had him.” Maverick turns around, grabs the dude by his shoulders and says, “I’ll fire when I’m good and ready, you got that!?”
I don’t know why, but I’m looking at the $STD chart right now and that just popped into my mind. It doesn’t get to look any better than this on the short side technically, fundamentally, or sentiment wise, just about everything is going against the price of this god forsaken stock. I still hold half of my short position in Banco Santander, and I’m looking to add on the short side, but I’m just not ready quite yet. I’ll fire when I’m good and ready.
